Job Description
Arcadis U.S., Inc., seeks an experienced Paralegal to join its in-house legal team in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Creating, maintaining, and managing case management, subpoena, document hold, and litigation/claims databases
  • Responding to subpoenas and public record act requests
  • Managing document retention issues
  • Performing legal and factual research under the guidance and direction of Arcadis attorneys
  • Coordinating with counsel on claims and compliance issues
  • Assisting with internal compliance and proposal matters, such as
    • drafting responses to questionnaires and forms related to company business proposals
    • preparing and filing documentation associated with professional licensing
    • assisting attorneys in investigations
    • coordinating with Arcadis’ legal staff in other regions on compliance and proposal matters
  • Supporting the Arcadis insurance manager in tracking and managing claims related information
  • Assisting Arcadis attorneys with other legal issues as necessary
Key Attributes:
  • Excellent skills and experience in the following areas:
    • Word/Excel/PowerPoint
    • Writing, proofreading, and editing
    • Westlaw and internet research
  • Critical and analytical thinking, advanced organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize among competing duties and projects
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and complete projects after receiving instructions (knowing when to ask necessary follow-up questions)
