Position Summary: 

The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the community and ensure that the services offered meet or exceed our high standards for quality products and services.  As Executive Director, you will develop and promote our communities, our programs and our outstanding customer service to achieve annual and long-term strategic objectives of the company. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for the communities’ profit and loss statement and budgetary responsibilities
  • Assists in development of marketing initiatives and sales objectives
  • Develops timely and appropriate relationships with customers (families, residents, staff, etc
  • Ensures staff adherence to customer service principles during interactions with residents, families, visitors and other community staff and serves as role model
  • Fosters teamwork among all staff (e.g., creates a shared awareness of community goals, objectives and current events, creates opportunities for staff to become involved in projects, promotes interdisciplinary and inter departmental cooperation, etc.)
  • Ensures appropriate actions are taken in response to Customer Satisfaction Survey results and monitors the effective implementation of quality improvement plans within all departments
  • Assertively manages group or interpersonal conflict situations to the point of resolution

Qualifications: 

  • Candidates must possess a strong management or leadership background in senior living with a solid understanding of assisted living and skilled nursing regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or education
  • Possess minimum 3 years’ experience in managing individuals or teams preferred
  • Possess effective management, fiscal and communication skills
  • Possesses interest in pursuing personal growth and development
  • Possess a high level of personal empathy and integrity

  • Organize and prioritize many tasks effectively
  • Utilize all resources in the execution of job responsibilities

  • Maintain a customer focus treating all customers with respect and integrity
  • Accept responsibility for agreements made and follow through as appropriate
  • Read, speak, and understand the English language
