This role on the Process Adherence & Improvement team supports the BISO Operations organization by delivering quality management and risk mitigation routines. Quality management includes developing and enforcing documentation consistency and sufficiency, designing and implementing quality assurance / quality control routines, evaluating processes for adherence to corporate policy and improvement opportunities, as well as monitoring the overall health of the BISO Operations control environment. Existing routines are at varying levels of maturity, and this role will assist in governing current quality management processes as well as developing and implementing new routines.
The role will additionally be responsible for managing emerging risk issues, whether the result of audits, MRAs, or management initiatives. Risk issue management includes identifying thematic issues, assisting in development and execution of remediation plans, driving accountability and ensuring long term sustainability.
This position will be working with process owners across the BISO Ops organization, as well as partnering with Global Risk and Compliance, BCMR and the larger BISO organization to drive consistency and improvement.
Desired candidate will have experience in risk management, QA / QC, process improvement, and cybersecurity.
• Broad knowledge of information security principles (e.g. access control, accreditation, risk assessment, configuration management, incident management, etc.)
• Experience with cybersecurity policy, regulation or frameworks
• Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight
• Demonstrates self-motivation and intellectual curiosity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as experience presenting to senior executives
• Able to work with peers and various levels of management
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrated relationship management and project management skills
• Experience in QA / QC, Audit and / or Risk Management
• Strong leadership skills

• Banking experience
• Familiar with cyber threat landscape
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
Provides support to information security officers who partner directly with line of business leaders. Has a deep understanding of the business and information security in order to have specialized information security risk-based discussions. Utilizes knowledge of application development and/or application security, including the Software Delivery Life Cycle from design, testing and deployment to post production. May participate in more complex Secure by Design efforts as new technology is deployed. Ensures technology is secure when used by partners and vendors. Provides guidance and expertise to information security officers on risk elements associated with each step of the Secure by Design process to ensure adherence to information security policies. Typically has 3-5 years of relevant experience.
