Position Summary

Provide the Consumer and Small Business solutions architecture team with proven delivery on innovations within the Enterprise Payment Technology space. Deliver Omni-channel solutions within across traditional payment networks and trending payment networks including virtual wallets and merchant services. Serve as a Senior Leader in architecture strategy, solutions and delivery.

Enterprise role description
Participates in design, development and implementation of architectural deliverables, to include components of the assessment and optimization of system design and review of user requirements. Contributes to the determination of technical and operational feasibility of solutions. Develops prototypes of the system design and works with database, operations, technical support and other IT areas as appropriate throughout development and implementation processes. May lead multiple projects with competing deadlines. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations, as well as mentor junior band 5 Architect 1's. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 7 or more years of architecture experience.

Required Skills

-8+ years financial services industry experience
-2+ years Digital & Physical payment implementation experience
-3+ years Previous Bank of America Experience
-2+ years Proven experience in delivery innovated and newer trends in payments / financial networks - specific examples required.
-Knowledge of Payments data/object/service models
-Knowledge of HSMs and security models
-Knowledge of network integration with 3rd party networks including ACH, ATM

Desired Skills

-Experience with "Faster Payments" and concepts surrounding this global trend Experience and/or working knowledge of emerging payments.
-Working in large organizations and understanding of the culture these large organizations bring.  
-Knowledge of ACI's BASE24 product offering.
-Knowledge of Real-Time Payment networks including TCH-RTP.
-Bachelor's Degree
