Who you are:

Brightwheel is seeking an individual with experience in FinTech to help us expand our integrated billing program. You will help brightwheel’s customers by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of transactions and building on a trusted platform that enables easy, on-time payments for educators and parents. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk and fraud, bring strong analytics capabilities, and must demonstrate our core values: Ownership, Empathy, Learning, & Results.

What you'll do:

Conduct verification of customers enrolling in integrated billing

Ensure that connected customer accounts are set up for success
Manage day-to-day operations, including disputes, payment approvals, and customer escalations
Provide feedback to Product and leverage 3rd party partners to deliver a seamless customer experience
Serve as the subject matter expert in risk and fraud; share insights and continue to hone expertise
Shape the company’s risk mitigation strategy and help scale risk operations with high growth potential

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities:

Bachelor's degree, 4+ years experience

Experience in the payments, billing, risk, and/or fraud industry
Strong in analytics (ideally you have can run SQL queries), critical thinking, and reasoned judgement
Process + Results Orientation: a track record of consistently delivering excellent results in a fast-paced environment. Regarded as a strong performer with strong attention to detail
Intellectually curious, drive, and appetite for early stage benefits and challenges
A customer-first mentality
