    The position of Human Resources Director is critical to the organization. Our role as Human Resources is to enable the human capital of Centura Health. While this position reports directly to the entity CEO, there is a strong line to the Group Vice President of Human Resources. Reporting directly to the CEO ensures participation and accountability to the strategic objectives of the facility, group and system goals and objectives. This position operates under the auspices of OneHR, meaning, our work will be connected and consistent across our organization with our people being at the center. Our aim is to achieve an incredible employee experience in which our associates, physicians and leaders can flourish and feel part of a connected ecosystem. Important in a leadership role is understanding the leadership expectations of this position and the entire leadership team throughout Centura Health. The Director of Human Resources must have a personal and professional connection to the Mission of our Christian organization. S/he must be a team player and contribute toward a Team centered approach that lends itself to ensuring “team before self” as we lead our complex, highly matrixed organization into the differentiated leading role as THE system of choice. S/he will invite others into their work to be fully Transparent with the activities of the position, allowing for celebration of successes and learnings through opportunities for change. S/he will be a change agent for the health system by being bold in their thoughts and actions that generate the need for Urgency as we forge ahead as the thought leader in our industry. Finally, s/he must demonstrate personal and professional Accountability to our community, associates, physicians, and sponsors for performance of the position and its team.

    What You Bring/Job Requirements

    In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    Minimum Experience Requirements
    7 years of progressive responsibility in Human Resources or management.
    Experience working with Unions, preferred.
    Proven skills in employee and labor relations and demonstrates leadership skills in an HR environment.
    Knowledge of governmental regulations and legal compliance regarding employment and benefits.
    Proven skills to deliver training/educational programming.

    Education Requirement

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources management, business, education or related field

    License/Certifications Requirement

    PHR/SPHR, or similar related certifications, preferred

    Physical Requirements

    Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
