This is a seasonal (at-will) position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association).
Anticipated dates of employment will be from March through May and August through October. Normal work hours will be between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., on Saturdays for football. Total hours worked not to exceed 1,500 annually.
Youth Sports Soccer or Football Field Supervisor (PT Sport Site Supervisor)
As a Soccer or Football Field Supervisor for Youth Sports, you will perform a variety of tasks facilitating sports leagues.
Essential Functions - the basic job duties an employee must be able to perform
- Inspect playing fields for safety hazards before every sport activity
- Assist with set-up and take-down of sports fields
- Monitor, observe, and evaluate coaches and officials during games
- Maintain a safe, fair, and fun environment; enforce behavior demonstrating positive sportsmanship
- Confirm assignments for officials
- File reports related to game situations
- Relay information between the sports office and on-site team locations
- Knowledge of soccer and/or football rules
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Excellent organizational skills
- A high school diploma or GED
- Experience playing or coaching sports
- Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to work in all weather conditions; stand, sit, stoop, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods; and lift 60 pounds occasionally.
