Starting at $16.50 hourly depending on qualifications.
The coach is responsible for expanding and perfecting the swimmers' abilities, for attending all swim meets and practices, and ensuring the safety of the swimmers at all times. Practices are Monday/Wednesday evenings from 5-6 pm AND Tuesday/Thursday evenings from 5-7:30 pm and there are several swim meets around the Denver Metro area throughout the season.
- Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
The coach must be able to instruct all swimmers in a clear and appropriate manner in proper swim techniques of all four strokes. The coach should show a genuine interest in all students and enthusiasm in their coaching. The coach is responsible for organizing all practices, workouts, swim meet sign ups and organizing the event cards for all swim meets. Must be able to work with and supervise assistant coaches.
- Essential Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Previous competitive swimming experience. (i.e. age group swim team, USA swimming, etc.)
Previous coaching experience preferred.
Current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the PR Certification or equivalent
Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification or equivalent
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification or equivalent
Current American Red Cross Standard First Aid Certification or equivalent
