Overall Job Objective
The Facilities Management department exists to provide a safe, clean, aesthetic, and sustainable environment that will enhance and support the mission and academic goals of the University. The Facilities Management department employs approximately 65 people who respond to the building maintenance, grounds maintenance, and custodial needs of over 1,700,000 square feet of maintainable building area and 279 acres of campus space. The Facilities Management Department is responsible for providing short-term and long-term physical development of the campus through the Planning and Construction Department. The Facilities Management Department also manages the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Department, which is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining EH&S programs to ensure safe and healthy environments on campus.
This position is located within CSU-Pueblo Facilities Management Department and exists to monitor financial activity within that department. This position will analyze accounting information and develop internal controls to summarize and report financial information in accordance with accounting principles, standards, statutes and regulations. This position is to accomplish accounting functions related to Facilities Management, specifically billing campus departments for work orders; entering, verifying, and tracking data in the Kuali Financial System (KFS); data entry and review of employee hours and work orders into and extraction of data from TMA which is the Facilities Management Computerized Maintenance Management System; tracking, status updates, attaching corresponding invoices, and closing of work orders; function as systems administrator for TMA, including system monitoring, user and location set up, and report development. Provides professional level administrative support, such as project coordination, and independent research and compilation.
