Adjunct Instructor for Art
The successful Art adjunct instructor must have a Master’s degree in Studio Art or related Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline to be taught. CTE classes require a postsecondary CTE credential and the level of education may vary by discipline. Primary courses to be taught include: Drawing I, 2D Design, and Art Appreciation. Previous experience teaching these courses in a community college setting is preferred.

Part-time experience is ½ the equivalent of full-time experience. Example: Four (4) years applicable part-time experience equals 2 years full-time equivalency.
