Job Description

Craft Brew Alliance has an immediate opening for a Senior Region Sales Manager in the Denver area. This position manages a team and is responsible for sales in Colorado. The Primary responsibility is to coach, mentor and lead the team to excel in managing wholesaler and retailer relationships while building brand relevance throughout the market.
Specific job duties include:
Support the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values.
presents CBA brands in the market to increase distribution.
Maintains regular communications with team members in all functional areas.
Ensures proper and timely ordering of POS to increase visibility of our brands.
Works with Region Director to develop territory budget, create projections, and manage within parameters to ensure targeted profitability.
Communicate with brand teams on opportunities and activation needs throughout the territory.
Oversees a variety of supplemental activities in support of building and maintaining relationships with wholesaler partners.
Guides assigned Region Sales Managers and Brewery Representatives with the coordination of events and festivals in their territory.
Provides assistance in the preparation for monthly sales and marketing meetings.
Performs market research for respective territory.
Collaborates with National Retail Sales and ensures Region Sales Manager execution of retail programs in the respective market.
Manages in accordance with the Company’s policies and approved procedures.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining: and addressing complaints and resolving issues.
Position requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 5-7 years of territory sales management experience; ideally in the beverage industry; proven profitable sales record where targets are met or exceeded.
Familiar with the brewing industry and distribution channels, and must have a proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, sales software and relational databases.
Excellent organizational skills and professional public speaking preparation and delivery.
