Dungarvin is a national organization that assists individuals in need of supports in their homes as well as in their communities. We are currently seeking to fill our Program Director position. The Program Director is responsible for directing a team of contractors (Host Home Providers) in providing Host Homes and other supportive assistance to individuals with disabilities.
The job responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Coordination and management of the overall operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of an individual’s host home.
• Responsible for overseeing implementation of individual support and behavioral plans, Dungarvin policies and procedures and assessing the needs of an individual on a continual basis.
• Coordinating and facilitating communication for Interdisciplinary team members that may include case managers, day service representatives, family or legal guardians, and neighbors.
• Having a working knowledge of individuals’ current medical conditions. Overseeing management of medication, dr. appointments, and maintaining and reviewing all documentation concerning medical information with assistance from Dungarvin’s nursing staff.
• Responsible for maintaining relationships with contractors providing services/host homes and insuring that all of the conditions of contract are met.

• A Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of one year experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Supervisory experience.
• Good decision-making, time management and communication skills.
• Current driver’s license and auto liability insurance.
• Acceptable driving record/criminal record in accordance with state regulations and company polices.
• Reliable transportation.

Full-time. Schedule must be flexible to accommodate various program, persons served, and personnel needs. The Program Director will be a part of a rotating on call schedule with other Program Directors.
