  • Must be able to understand, implement and adhere to the sequence of service (i.e. timeliness in approaching and providing guest with service)
  • Must be able to use multi-functional registers accurately and with speed
  • Must be able to understand and adhere to all Department/Company Cash Handling procedures
  • Monitor the waiting line to determine if there are large parties waiting to be seated
  • Seat and present guest with a clean menu;  Collect and inspect all menus, discarding damage/worn menus
  • Responsible for ensuring that tables are properly set to start each shift
  • Responsible for adherence to all department procedures and policies (i.e. comps, room charges, credit cards, coupons, voids, cash, identification for age, etc.)
  • Responsible for answering telephones and maintaining the professional appearance of the hostess stands
  • Must follow departmental procedures to ensure a sanitary and safe work environment
  • Responsible for providing guest with information on services available in the Hotel/Casino
  • Must immediately notify Manager/Supervisor regarding issues or complaints in the department
  • Assist with side work as needed until completed
  • Must present self in a professional manner at all times and able to function in a fast paced team environment
  • Must provide courteous and friendly service to all staff and guests
  • Must be able to understand and conform to all Company/Department Policies and Procedures and Rules and Regulations
  • Perform other related duties as required
EXPERIENCE:  Minimum 1 year work experience in a high volume full service restaurant
Must be 18 years of age

EDUCATION   High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience      
SKILLS:   Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.    Good communication and organization skills. The ability to perform basic math.                
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:  Clark County Health Card.  Alcohol Awareness Card (Buffet).
