    GDMS has an immediate opening for a Level II System Administrator. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems. GDMS employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

    Successful candidate must possess the ability to technically diagnose, mitigate/troubleshoot issues, and contribute to an on-site team providing 24x7 support to the C2BMC application suites that are globally dispersed in different time zones. Candidate must have experience in Server System Administration and troubleshooting analysis in some or all of the following platforms: Linux, UNIX, Windows servers, Windows clients. Candidate will participate in system/networking troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance activities, to include on-site and/or telephonic maintenance support. Candidate must be a self-starting problem solver and possess the capability to work with limited supervision and support troubleshooting to resolution.


    - Experience with IBM SmartCloud Control Desk, user interface customization and development
    - Familiar with Database Administration and Application to ensure uptime, performance, resources and security of the system is sustained and

    anomalies are fixed efficiently
    - Experience in IT Service Management principles
    - General understanding of trouble ticket processes and procedures
    - Knowledgeable in Windows and Redhat system administration, software installation, and patch management
    - Solid troubleshooting skills, log analysis, and problem solving techniques
    - Familiar with imaging software, creating/installing ISO, and staging software for installation across network
    - Proficiency in VMWare, VSphere, ESXi hosts, virtual machines, Microsoft Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint and/or Excel


    Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; Candidate must meet minimum requirements of DOD 8570 IAT II certification (Security +, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).

    Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
