Job Overview

 

This role will respond to all guest requests for shuttle service in a prompt and courteous manner, assisting guests with their luggage while boarding and off-loading the shuttle. This role will also be responsible for keeping the general appearance of the hotel in clean and functional working order.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transport guests to and from assigned destinations using property vehicle.

  • Document all trips prior to the start and at the conclusion of each trip.

  • Park vehicle in designated location when not in use.

  • Inspect vehicle for damage and cleanliness.

  • Check tire pressure and fluid levels and refuel as necessary.

  • Notify management of any maintenance needs.

  • Document all vehicle incidents, such as damage or accidents, and provide reports of incidents to management.

  • Report any accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager.

  • Complete safety training and maintain certifications.

  • Communicate and enforce all hotel policies and procedures.

  • Assist guests with luggage while boarding and off-loading the vehicle.

  • Assist all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, whenever possible going the extra mile and doing whatever it takes to ensure guest satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • One year of guest service or driver experience is preferred but not required.

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.

  • Able to accept directions and priorities from members of management and reliably follow through on tasks.

  • Highly energetic and motivated individual

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer/client focus essential

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

  • Ability to shift and manage multiple priorities

  • High level of flexibility regarding overtime during times busy periods as required by the business
