SUMMARY


Manages all aspects ofequipment projects, from beginning to end, with direct responsibility forproject execution. Responsible for the administration, implementation, andmanagement of equipment projects.  Accountable for assigned projects'scope of work, schedule, and budget.  Typically requires an Associate'sDegree in business or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of projectmanagement, equipment, HVAC or related experience, or a minimum of six (6)years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; or anequivalent combination of education and experience.  


 


ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other functions maybe assigned.


  • Responsible for timelycompletion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction. 

  • Plans and analyzes assignedprojects, establishes schedules and project parameters

  • Communicates with customersand their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors,other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff. 

  • Ensures compliance withinternal equipment ordering processes.

  • Responsible for maintainingthe accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion.

  • Controls expenses bymonitoring assigned project budget. 

  • Responsible for enteringequipment orders and issuing purchase orders for vendor orders.

  • Generates work orders forequipment start-ups.

  • Maintains customersatisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, andcommunicating with customers and assigned staff. 

  • Establishes a professionalrelationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accuratestatus reports and project reviews. 

  • Obtains acceptance andtimely sign-off of the project by the customer.

EDUCATIONand/or EXPERIENCE


 


Associate's Degree in businessor equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of project management, equipment,HVAC or related experience, or a minimum of six (6) years of projectmanagement, equipment, HVAC or related experience; or an equivalent combinationof education and experience.  Familiarity with HVAC systems andtemperature equipment preferred.
