*The Denver IA office is looking for a Healthcare Project Architect that can lead and build the healthcare practice in Denver and be a resource/leader for IA as a whole.*

We are presently searching for a Healthcare Project Architect for our Denver office. The Healthcare Project Architect is responsible for leading all design phases for interiors projects, establishes the vision, leads the team, and has extensive client interaction.
Specific responsibilities will include:
-Attending client interviews and assisting in winning new work.
-Manages client communication and expectations
-Leads overall design concept for project. Can inspire and push forward thinking design with the team and client
-Works closely with staff to complete design and technical drawing packages
-Mentors the younger design and technical team
-Review of engineering drawings to ensure they comply with design solution
-Manages the overall quality control of the project including consultant drawings and coordination
-Oversees finish selection and product/material specifications
-Extensive knowledge of detailing
-Manages overall project budget
-Organizes and conducts client interviews to determine requirements
-Licensed Healthcare Architect
-Graduate of architecture: equivalent experience may be substituted
-8+ years’ experience in Healthcare Design
-Acute and ambulatory care experience.
-EDAC Accreditation ideal, but not required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Revit knowledge a plus
-Healthcare code knowledge a must
-Extensive knowledge of healthcare design principles and aesthetics
-Extensive knowledge of healthcare space planning methodology
-Expert interior architecture and healthcare detailing skills
-Extensive knowledge of assembling CD’s and performing construction administration
-Extensive technical knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirements
-Extensive verbal and written communication skills, both with client and staff
-Extensive presentation and graphic communication experience
-Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team through a combination of direct authority and subject matter expertise
-Proven ability to manage projects within budgetary constraints
