    Isle Casino Hotel® Black Hawk is an over 40,000 square foot, one level gaming complex located in Black Hawk, CO. The casino features over 1,000 slot machines, including your favorite video, reel, keno and video poker machines, live poker and 24 table games such as Blackjack, Let-it-Ride-Poker, Three Card Poker, Bonus 6 Poker, Craps and Roulette. The hotel features 238 hotel rooms comprised of mini-suites with jetted tubs, standard rooms, two 640 square foot meeting rooms, multiple food and beverage venues and a 1,100 space covered parking garage.

    THE JOB

    JOB SUMMARY
    Responsible for welcoming guests, taking payments, providing timely seating as well as outlet and menu information to enhance their dining experience.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Greets guests in a timely manner.
    • Provides guests with menus.
    • Assigns guest to tables and keeps track of seat availability.
    • Seats each guest in the appropriate section, rotate sections to ensure that tables are distributed evenly
    • Ensures dining and serving areas are clean and properly set.
    • Receives and records guests reservations
    • Speaks to guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
    • Collects all forms of credit as it pertains to the payment of bills.
    • Responsible for reconciling and balancing the assigned cash drawer.
    • Provides an adequate supply of product and miscellaneous supplies for work stations to last the duration of shift.
    • Assists wait staff with bussing and resetting tables.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Strong verbal communication skills.
    • Previous cashier experience.
    • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • Repetitive lifting of up to 15 lbs.
    • Frequent walking.
    • Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
    • May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise.
