THE VENUE

Pepsi Center, one of the nation’s finest sports and entertainment facilities, represents the best of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West. With more than 250 events each year, Pepsi Center hosts concerts, family shows, and is home to the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Mammoth.

 

THE ROLE   

Cashiers are responsible for timely, efficient, and accurate cash and credit card transactions and reporting. Additionally, cashiers will be responsible for setting-up, maintaining and cleaning their workstation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are documented
  • Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to transfer high energy into sales
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Elevated time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills
  • Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
  • Ability to work in an open air environment during all climate conditions
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including: constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • At least one (1) year cashier experience or three months experience in a high-volume facility
  • Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
  • Ability to work all major events, including: extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
