If so, then we would love to speak with you! Join a highly motivated team working new technologies in the area of Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation and Control. These include Spacecraft attitude determination, attitude control, simulations, and operations of Space vehicle.

AS THE GUIDANCE, NAVIGATION & CONTROL ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
- Work on new guidance and control algorithms using Model Based Design Tools and environment.

- Perform trade studies and collaborate across disciplines, programs, and Lockheed Martin business areas.

- Provide support to all GNC planning, requirements generation, software verification & validation activities, and pre and post-test support.

Proven experience with Guidance, Navigation and Control/Flight Software GNC/FSW architectures and deployment Space applications is highly desired.

Basic Qualifications
• Requires a BS degree in an Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or other controls related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated Experience with Spacecraft.
• Must have broad technical skills including rigid body dynamics, control theory, and computer programming
• Demonstrated experience using Matlab and Simulink for spacecraft and/or missile simulations, analysis of feedback control systems, closed loop guidance, or navigation algorithms.
• Knowledge in requirements generation, design, integration, qualification, verification, and validation of Guidance, Navigation & Control (GN&C) algorithms for spacecraft and/or missile applications.
• Knowledge in the development of flight vehicle GN&C architectures, and planning and conducting GN&C performance and simulation analysis.
• Ability to obtain a DoD clearance in the future

Desired skills
• Experience with spacecraft and/or missile systems and related physics based modeling and simulation (experience with CORESIM a big plus)
• Experience with spacecraft and/or missile flight controls and guidance
• Experience with model based software development using Simulink (autocoding)
��� Experience with FORTRAN and C/C++
• Experience with designing algorithms for real time execution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated ability as a teammate to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
• Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.
