In support of Orion Program, you will perform ATLO System Integration & Manufacturing Engineering roles and responsibilities attached to the Avionics, Power, and Wiring IPT.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will develop manufacturing work instructions, routings, product structure, and manufacturing bill of materials within CAMS/SAP or other type of database. Experienced in the review of engineering drawings, producibility, and as floor liaison support.
• You will incorporate Engineering impacts for Class I and Class II changes as well as ECON coordination.
• You will approve and manage extensive Bills of Materials over multiple end items and next higher usage and be responsible for major assemblies within the Orion Demand Management organization.
• You will coordinate with LMSSC manufacturing facilities and key suppliers for design to build translation, issue resolution, status, process improvement, risk mitigation and reduction.
• You will support the creation of a complex network of manufacturing work instructions and production orders for assembly, integration, and test operations of Orion Test Labs.
• You will act as a major contributor to the rollout of VE-CAMS SAP manufacturing solution for the Denver/Houston Orion manufacturing engineering team.
• You will control Point structure and Flow for Major Assemblies.
• You will plan and execute Long Lead analysis and integration.
• You will coordinate Subcontract requirements into BOM and CFE BOMs.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 9 years of related experience is required, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experienced in the review and interpretation of assembly level engineering drawings and as floor support/liaison support.
• Must have direct experience with Electronics Assemblies, strong understanding of Electronics Assembly processes, experience with system level electronics integration, and associated requirements, and operational durations.
• Experience with coordinating system integration to bring in multiple components and subsystems from numerous supplies and integrate define plan to integrate and test based of existing engineering and test documentation and procedures.
• Experience and understanding of with configuration management practices and databases such as Windchill, EPDM, or similar.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures and reports. Ability to write reports and keep accurate documentation.

Desired skills
• Minimum of 3 years experience demonstrating use of CAMS/SAP or similar supporting or generating manufacturing work instructions, routings, product structure, and manufacturing bill of materials(EBOM/MBOM).
• Special tooling and handling knowledge.
• Make or buy assessment background.
• Design for Manufacture and Assembly/Producibility experience & skillset.
• Team oriented attitude and developed interpersonal skills.
• Direct user experience in VE CAMs & SAP ERP tool.
• Ability to perform requirements analysis working within a major assembly team.
• Solid communication skills & demonstrated ability to drive process compliance.
• Knowledgeable of PP&C/MRP transactions in SAP system.
