Summary of Key Duties for this position:
Please note, this is a contingent position pending the award of the contract.

• You will be responsible for the design and equipment selection of Baseband Processors for 11 Ground Antennas.
• You will develop the Systems Engineering design artifacts to include CONOPS, requirements, and HW/SW ICDs.
• You will collaboratively refine requirements to ensure that the intent is met even when not explicitly stated in requirements.
• You will work integrally with other discipline staff to communicate complex technical ideas to an audience with varied technical backgrounds.• You will develop the FPGA design artifacts to include CONOPS, requirements, and the FPGA ICD.
• You will develop the SW design artifacts to include CONOPS, requirements, and the SW ICD.
• You will develop prototype FPGA/SW deliverables.
• You will ensure the COTS Hardware for the chassis, FPGA, and SW process are ready for procurement.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Ability to obtain a TS DoD Clearance required for this role.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science is preferred for this position.
• Experience in providing technical leadership and acting as a primary interface and team leader and a mentor for more junior engineers.
• Experience in technical leadership of small, focused, goal-oriented teams.
• Must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for an elevated clearance for access to classified information.
•FPGA development and verification.
•Scripting languages such as Python.
•Understanding of Linux.
•Experience with Xilinx tools.
