Job Summary

The Advisor in Moneta Advisory Services will work closely with the Partner Teams and other Advisors on the team to advise clients who bring unique client situations to Moneta in our Denver, CO office. In this role you will work with clients who do not fit our traditional business models but offer unique financial planning challenges. This Advisor will work with Partner teams to give the appropriate advice for clients on issues ranging from investment strategies, retirement planning, education savings, tax strategies, estate planning, insurance strategies, and more. The Advisor is expected to participate in and lead client meetings, as well as work with clients and prospects in prospecting and fact finding through financial action plans and annual reviews. In all client interactions our Advisors need to focus on the 'Why' for Moneta.

We are one firm with many solutions, and we provide a full spectrum of financial advisory services, but our true purpose is centered on building relationships and providing exceptional service to our clients around the globe.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Executive Leadership team and other MAS team members to learn all aspects of Family CFO business
  • Work closely with Moneta's internal Investments team, Estate Planning team, and other internal resources to provide comprehensive family CFO services
  • Lead client meetings including first interviews, confidential fact-finding, financial action plans, implementation meetings, and reviews
  • Prepare and review financial action plans
  • Identify and incorporate value-added analysis
  • Collaborate with Partner teams to coordinate services that do not fit the traditional Family CFO model
  • Work through pipeline from various Moneta referral services
  • Handle inbound prospect inquiries
  • Build deep, lasting relationships with clients
  • Commit to ongoing education to remain an authority in family CFO matters
  • Ensure 'Why' of Moneta are incorporated into the duties and responsibilities of the role

Qualifications

  • CFP, Series 65, or combination of Series 7 and Series 66 required
  • CFA, JD, Master's degree, or CPA preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience offering holistic financial planning advice in a professional environment
  • Experience monitoring and evaluating investments
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to interact well with clients and employees
