Account Exec - Outside Sales

Job Description
The Account Executive – Outside Sales position will perform the following duties:
  • Develops a game plan that includes Sales Strategies, Value Propositions and KPI’s that enables the Account Executive to achieve their Budgeted Sales Plan, Goals and Gross Profit objectives
  • Services existing accounts and expands sales within these accounts by up selling along with ensuring that the customer has the right product mix and all needs are being met
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Obtains orders, sells in promotions and executes conversion of any products being purchased through a competitor
  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to include prospecting for new business
  • Develops strong relationships and rapport with all customers
  • Develops relationships with local brokers and manufacturers to develop sales opportunities
  • Must be able to travel within assigned territory on a daily basis; overnight travel of 50%
