Business Process Analyst

Job Description
The Business Process Analyst acts as liaison between technical IT staff and line-of-business staff. They will work with both the Systems Analysts in IT and the users of the business processes/systems. They will oversee the tactical day-to-day aspects of discovering, validating, documenting and communicating business process-related knowledge through modeling, simulating and analyzing current and future states. We are looking for a hands-on worker to be responsible for driving the creation of process models and the use of automation.

Responsibilities include:

Model, simulate and use enhanced business process diagrams/modeling tools to drive automation and/or change while demonstrating opportunities for best-in-class process management.

Communicates and translates requirements effectively and ensures proper coordination between the IT organization and the process owners by defining conceptual and contextual levels of detail in the business process models.

Determines and documents the impact of automation and/or change and suggests policy, goal and rule changes. Monitors, measures and reports ROI on all process changes and performs continuous reviews to align processes, models, goals, expectations, automation, with changing business conditions.

Drives the creation of the supporting environment, such as screen interactions, dashboards, rule management, optimization algorithms, etc. Ensures that changes to the process environment are carried out in a seamless fashion.

Works with and through the client relationship managers (who serve as ongoing representatives of client needs), and/or works directly with business unit clients as required.

Shows process stakeholders how to identify and solve process challenges and automation through simulation of different scenarios, analysis of performance metrics, automation, and advanced optimization technique.

Conducts process redesign workshops, educates the business and end users in the value of business process and automation, to hand over the day to day management of their business processes.

Documents, maintains and shares process knowledge by employing methods, techniques, notations, standards and best practices commonly used within the business process community. Searches internal and external resources for pre-built models, templates and services to meet business process needs, analyze the ability to use robotic process automation.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Robotic process automation tools, project mgmt experience, exposure to Six Sigma/ TQM
