Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Sales Office Designer to join our National Merchandising team.


Design and draft sales offices to include but not limited to space planning and the selection of interior specifications such as furnishings, wall coverings, soft goods, art, accessories, and finishes. - Provide input and direction to sales, construction, purchasing, design staff, and plan/architecture departments on specifications, options, frame-walks, etc; - Oversee move-over or new model and/or sales office specifications in conjunction with installation. - Attend model home and/or sales office installations. Attend frame and electrical walks to ensure construction matches plan set. Work in conjunction with Merchandising Purchasing to ensure the arrival of all items to a job-site. - Meet with reps to keep samples current as well as responsible for bringing in new sources. Assist in other department functions as needed such as: Drafting model home electrical layouts, assisting in exterior color documentation, landscape plan reviews.


Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Associates Degree or Associates of Applied Science Degree in Interior Design or related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years interior design experience or equivalent. Advanced technical skill in: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office. Other skills include detail oriented, self-motivated, able to verbalize and write professionally and possess effective problem solving skills. Must have trained and aesthetic sense for design as well as drafting skills. Time management and organizational skills a must
