SAIC has an immediate need for a Cybersecurity Manager to support an Air Force contract. The manager works directly with the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), and or Information System Security Manager (ISSM), to ensure appropriate cybersecurity workforce, system management, and risk management framework program is implemented to ensure a compliant, defense in depth cybersecurity posture. Pursue opportunities to automate RMF assessments, validations, and processes capitalizing on cloud-technologies and cloud-based services. As the N&NC ISSE, execute role and responsibilities includes all systems and services operated by, maintained, and hosted by the contract, N&NC subordinate organizations, regions, and sectors.
- A secret security clearance is required and a top secret/SCI security clearance is desired.
- Provide Risk Assessments, written security and mission impact assessments, cybersecurity analysis, recommendations for implementation, and appropriate mitigation/remediation actions for all proposed architectural, system, software, and hardware initiatives
Detailed knowledge of the RMF
Provide expert level information assurance (IA) advice to ensure compliance with DOD, N&NC and other applicable directives.
The ability to translate RMF security controls into system specifications, ensure the successful integration of those specifications into the system design, and ensure security engineering trades do not impact the ability of the system to meet the fundamental mission requirements
Perform risk assessments that will address risk factors, threats, vulnerabilities, likelihood of exploit, and security controls of key cyber terrain/systems
Identify potential mitigation measures
Specify residual risk after mitigations are applied
Usually has BS in computer science or related field, or 10 years of IA management experience, Applies knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to develop, implement, and maintain a secure enclave environment, relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish enclave security related goals, and manages IA operations for an enclave(s).
IAM/IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISM, CISSP, GSLC)
Proficiency with Vulnerability Management processes/procedures
Knowledge of SIEM, ACAS, HBSS, eMASS and other DOD cybersecurity tools
C|EH, CISA, or GSNA certification
Certificate of training/course completion in current or recent versions of Windows, Unix/Linux, ACAS/Nessus, NMAP, and eMASS.
