    Managed Business Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior/Lead GIS Software Developer to lead the design and development of web-based .Net solutions using C#, JavaScript, and ESRI-GIS technologies. This Sr./Lead Developer will be a key member of our Agile development team which uses a variety of cutting edge technologies. This full-time/salaried-benefited opening will be supporting an upcoming, key federal client across the development life cycle of a new build platform for integration and maintenance needs. This is a telecommuting (virtual) role which will be working with our Enterprise Colorado-based Development team.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with business analysts and end-users to design custom services and enterprise applications that meet functional requirements.
    • Develop custom viewers, tools, databases and services in JavaScript and .NET environments using C#, REST, JSON, XML and SQL.
    • Design, develop, and deploy customized web-GIS solutions and services using ArcGIS Online.
    • Provide user support, training, and technical communication to meet the needs of multiple audiences.
    • Develop application requiring in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and related libraries (React, AngularJS, etc.), and use of Node.js and relevant packages (Gulp, Bower, Grunt, Other NPM packages)
    • Perform server-side development using.Net, .Net Core, Node (Express, etc.)
    • Utilize ORMs such as Entity Framework (code-first), NHibernate (fluent), Mongoose, etc.
    • Utilize relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and No-SQL databases (Couch, Mongo, etc.) on back-end
    • Implement user interfaces using good usability and user experience practices

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Computer Science or related field.
    • Five years demonstrated experience in web-based and desktop GIS application development.
    • Experience as GIS developer using ESRI web APIs, especially JavaScript.
    • Experience developing with ArcGIS Online.
    • Application development experience with XML and C# in a .NET environment.
    • Daily Usage of version control and Continuous Integration within (Git, TFS, Jenkins)

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with JavaScript libraries like Dojo, ExtJS, and JQuery.
    • Experience with Model-View-Controller frameworks.
    • Familiarity with ESRI tools (ArcSDE, ArcServer, ArcGIS Desktop) within a .Net environment.
    • Experience with a CSS preprocessor such as LESS or SASS.
    • Experience using SOAP and REST specifications.
    • Understanding of Docker and similar systems
    • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

    Environment (working conditions):
