- Job Summary
The Dishwasher/Food runner is responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keeps the dish room and equipment clean and organized. The food runner - Team members are expected to ensure all guests feel welcome. They will help with operational duties throughout their shift. This position will inspect dining and serving areas to ensure proper setup and cleanliness, assist customers, as well as work as a team partner to support, servers, cooks, and bartenders. Continuously abides by and promotes the District's mission: To foster healthy living through stewardship of the environment, parks, trails and open space and by providing recreational services and programs.
- Job Requirements
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Previous experience as a Dishwasher/Food Runner preferred but not required.
A combination of experience and education may be considered.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate with others. Ability to participate in a team environment.
Must have strong organizational skills. Must have knowledge of all health standards and ability to communicate effectively with staff.
Must be highly motivated and take direction well. Able to provide outstanding customer service and get along with coworkers, patrons, and supervisors. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Work Hours: This is a part time position with variable hours; day, evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required.
