Job Description

Overall Job Objective

Job Summary

Responsible for a variety of duties in guest services including: greeting each customer and educating them on course conditions, course rules and policies, and pace of play; maintaining communications from the first tee with golf shop, cart staff and ranger; monitoring first tee, tee off times, turn times and finish times; reporting irregularities and misuse of equipment and property; ensuring equipment is stored properly and safety practices are enforced.

Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills gained from previous experience. Cashier and previous pro shop experience preferred. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with guests, employees and representatives from other departments. Knowledge of golf course operations preferred. Basic computer skills are necessary. Must be highly motivated and a self-starter. The ability to successfully complete a background check including but not limited to criminal history search is required.

Additional Information

Work Hours: This is a variable hour position and may work between 10-28 hours per week; day, evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required. Please note weekly work hours will vary.
