- Job Summary
The Front Desk Agent is the facilities lead customer service representative and is responsible for assisting the public in all front desk related functions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner that maintains high quality of guest services. Responsibilities include handling all phone calls, receiving and transmitting messages for the sales department, taking hotel reservations, checking guests in and out of hotel rooms, delivering Room Service orders, collecting and posting revenues and balancing shift report at end of shift. Additionally the Front Desk Agent is responsible for assisting the Rooms Divisions supervisor and the Hospitality Department in various assigned projects.
- Job Requirements
The Front Desk Agent must have excellent customer service skills, pleasant personality and love interacting with guests. Must be able to handle customer issues in a professional manner, be able to answer customer's queries and provide then with necessary information and be comfortable in an emergency situation.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Minimum of 6 months experience in hotel or customer service required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Additional Information
Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must be available to evening shifts including weekend and Holidays. This position works an average 20 hours a week. This is a part time position with variable hours; evening, weekend and holiday hours are required. The ability to successfully complete a background check including but not limited to criminal history search is required.
