Part Time Golf Maintenance Worker

- Job Summary
- The Golf Maintenance Worker is responsible for all golf course maintenance duties as well as general cleanliness and upkeep of the course. Golf course maintenance jobs including raking traps, mowing greens, mowing tees, mowing roughs, divot repair, edging traps, push mowing landscape areas, hand trimming, pulling weeds, picking up trash, and participating in small projects when needed.
- Job Requirements
Must be at least 16 years old with some schooling.
Previous experience working at a golf course is strongly preferred but not required.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be highly motivated and take direction well.
Knowledge of: how to play the game of golf and understand how job performance affects the operations of the golf course; use and operating standards of equipment and hand tools.
Ability to: provide outstanding customer service and get along with coworkers, patrons, and supervisors; able to work varying weekly work hours.
Drives to additional District facilities for meetings as needed. May be required to drive a district vehicle to perform job duties.
A combination of education and experience may be considered. The ability to successfully complete a background check including and not limited to criminal history search and motor vehicle check may be required.
