Part Time Medical Eligible Parks Maintenance Assistant-Trails and Natural Open Space

- Job Summary
Under the supervision of a Lead Maintenance Technician and/or Maintenance Supervisor this position is responsible for learning and performing various skills that are associated with accepted maintenance practices for developed parks, trails, opens spaces, and or skills with an emphasis in Horticulture or Forestry maintenance.
This is a part time variable hour position and weekly work hours / days may vary.
- Job Requirements
Education: Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous skilled labor experience that is inherent to park, open space, trails, horticulture, forestry or related grounds maintenance work is preferred..
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Certifications and Driving Requirements:
Preferred Certifications: Any related certifications. Some maintenance divisions may require a Colorado Pesticide Applicators license and or the ability to obtain one within a designated amount of time.
Driving Requirements: This position regularly drives a District vehicle. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver License, or have the ability to obtain one upon hire and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Additional Information
Work schedule is Monday through Friday with various Hours. Weekends, holidays and evenings may be required.
