General Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Regional Marketing Manager and supports the Zone Retailer Marketing Managers in all areas of regional and zone marketing and advertising.  This currently includes, but is not limited to tracking and administering advertising, marketing and promotions at the region, zone or retailer level.  It also includes Love Promise events, niche events, interfacing with outside vendor partners such as Dealer.com, Carmichael Lynch Advertising, Shift Digital and Care Connect among others. Analysis of the Subaru Advertising Fund (SAF), incentive analysis, ROI determination, sponsorships, launch activities and field, retailer and vendor communications are included.  The position also includes assisting with analysis of marketing reports and processes, and administering contracts according to SOA guidelines.  

Skill Requirements:

Strong Job Competence:

  • Experience in sales and marketing.  Experience in digital advertising a plus.
  • Strong budget management expertise
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, highly successful at handling multiple priorities
  • Self-starter and works independently
  • Experience with process planning and management
  • Extensive experience with event planning
  • Intermediate IT skills in MS Office programs, Subaru databases and the Internet

Education/Experience Requirements

- BA/BS(4 year degree) plus 3-5 years of related experience.

 

** Overnight travel 25 to 50 % domestically within the Region.  Travel frequency and duration depends on seasonality of events.
