IT PMO Project Manager

TTECis seeking an experienced IT PMO -ProjectManager to join our Global IT PMOteam at our Global Corporate Headquarters, based in Englewood, Colorado.

Our global IT PMO Organizationsupports the Global IT Team, in providing services to the entire enterprisethat encompasses over 40,000 users across our businesses aligned in fourpillars - Customer Care, Technology Services, Strategy Services, & GrowthServices.

What you'll be doing: 

ThePosition of IT - PMO Project Manageris a project role within the IT PMO - Delivery Team.  This position is critical to the success ofthe IT PMO - Delivery Team, and has a solid career path into senior projectleadership roles within the IT PMO.  Thisposition manages the initiation, planning, execution (including managing andcontrolling), and closing of small to large Project within the IT PMO ManagedProject Portfolio, following the defined IT PMO Project DeliveryLifecycle.

o  Responsiblefor regular Project Status Updates

·       Facilitates thecapturing and prioritization of project requirements

·       Leads, plans,schedules, tracks, and manages project deliverables, goals, and milestones;adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet changing needs and requirements

o  Assessesrisks and creates strategies for risk mitigation and project contingencyplanning

o  Designsand maintains project documentation

o  Identifiesand resolves project issues; ensures appropriate communication to projectstakeholders

o  Createsand executes project work plans and revises as appropriate

·       Manages project scopeand the change control process as appropriate

·       Develops project plansand team assignments

o  Directsand monitors daily work of teams including progress toward goals

o  Identifiesresource needs and secures as needed

o  Providesday-to-day direction and oversight over project engineering teams

·       Analyzes OrganizationalChange Management (OCM) hurdles and devises/executes plans to overcomeresistance and foster adoption of project deliverables

·       Monitors, reviews,and/or appropriately escalates functional, quality, and timeline issues

·       Develops and executes procurementmanagement plan in association with Procurement and the vendor management plan

·       Ensures project plansand all project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored

·       Delivers engaging,informative, well-organized presentations

·       Assists customersremotely over the phone using remote control software or in person

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:

o  Holds/attendsteam meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed

o   Knows, understands, andfollows teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or companyprocedures


What you'll bring to us:

  • 4 years of Project Management Experience
    • Minimum of four (4) years' experience managing IT projects / programs
    • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions required
    • Demonstrated experience in resource management and change management techniques preferred
  • Project Management Institute - Project Management Professional Certification (PMI-PMP) is desired but not required.
  • Proven experience in a project management position, using standard SDLC/PDLC practices
  • Demonstrated ability to transfer skills and knowledge to a high performing team
  • Ability to integrate and align strategy across functions, processes and teams
  • Proven ability to implement improved business processes working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tangible results

Whatskills you'll need:

  • Implementation, technical design, and process improvement project experience
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and enterprise relationship building experience
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize personal tasks and activities and those of project team members as necessary

·       Demonstrated strengths in organization, reasoning, critical thinking,and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail

·       Expert computer skills andproficiency in MS Project required; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,SharePoint and Outlook required
