Job Summary
TheUniversity of Colorado Department of Radiology is seeking a fellowship-trained,CAQ eligible/certified, Interventional Radiologist tojoin the Interventional Division at the Assistant, Associate, or Full-Professor level depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have ademonstrated record of scientific achievement and significant interest insupporting and expanding the Translational Research program.  This is aterrific opportunity to join a highly progressive department and institution,on a state-of-the-art campus, in one of the best places to live in the UnitedStates.


Currently, the Division includes nine Interventionalists and fourmidlevel providers who together perform over 10,000 procedures annually. Thecase load is very broad, consistent with a quaternary regional referral center,with an emphasis on transplant and oncologic interventions.  Additionally, IR services will be expandinginto the Highlands Ranch Hospital, a new UCHealth facility opening in March2019.

Duties

This physician willparticipate in all clinical duties involving inpatient and outpatient diagnosticand therapeutic Interventional procedures, as well as clinic and consultservices. Call responsibilities are evenly divided amongst all physicians. Adedication to fellow, resident, and medical student education in both an outpatientand inpatient setting is a critical component of the position.



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Medical Degree or equivalent,Colorado Medical License, ABR Certification,Interventional Radiology Fellowship Training, CAQeligible or certified.

Required Competencies

Competency is required in theperformance of diagnostic arteriography, vascular intervention, oncologicintervention including intra-arterial and percutaneous therapies, biliary,genitourinary, and GI intervention for example. Participation in outpatient clinic and inpatient consultation servicesis also required.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to clinicalexpertise, the ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of scientificachievement and significant interest in supporting and expanding theTranslational Research program.
