- Description of Job
The Identity & Access Management work unit is responsible for how users within an organization are given an identity, and how it is protected, which includes saving critical applications, data, and systems from unauthorized access while managing the identities and access rights of people both inside and outside the organization.
Identity & access management involves protecting data assets and implementing processes and procurement standards to run business intelligently. The team is heavily involved in the Audit & Regulatory Compliance area.
Identity Access Management & Compliance- Collaboration on Delivering a Secure Colorado by implementing tools, technology, process improvement; participation and partnering with Security organization in implementing a standardized management framework for the agency and enabling a 10% reduction in information security risk
Project, Demand and Resource Management
Lead activity for the lAM employees and contractors supporting implementations
Processes, Procedures, Improvements & Metrics- Assist with documenting, training and promoting Standards; Provide monthly/quarterly metrics to ensure lAM is adhering to all security, provisioning and authentication standards and meeting Service Level Commitments and Project Deliverables
Operational support, service delivery and product management for authentication services. Will recommend and drive the enhancement processes and work with vendor partners.
Authentication to include - Multi-Factor Authentication, Single Sign-On and Federation
Oversee maintenance of system configurations, process design documentation, operating procedures and process documentation.
Administer Privilege Access Management System
Support Identity Management Automation System
Delivers necessary metrics that measure various aspects of authentication services and security compliance.
Responsible for audit logs for IAM solutions and responding to alerts
Provide engagement in projects, collaborates with leadership and staff to develop secure solutions and options; assists with driving strategies forward; ensures adherence to approved methodologies; manages demand and capacity for successful workload management.
Participates in design review working directly with customers and business owners on the integration requirements for 2FA and SSO.
Act as an escalation point for IAM and related processes, working with customers and stakeholders as needed to resolve all issues quickly and efficiently.
Customer Service, Tier II-III support and Ticket Management; works to ensure continuous improvement of processes
Champions organizational change; encourages participation in activities that support relationship development; champions information security innovation; encourages and enforces proper training in regards to security issues.
Accountable for meeting goals and performance development.
- Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
Successful candidates for this position should possess the following skills/experience:
Four (4) years of experience in systems administration for authentication and directory services (Active Directory, Azure, Ping, VDS)
Two (2) years experience Risk and Controls, Business Analysis and Application Security
Experience interacting with Identity Management and Privilege Access Management platforms such as One Identity.
Two (2) years leading complex projects or program management
Demonstrable ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Demonstrable problem-solving skills and ability to work in both collaborative and independent work situations
Demonstrable exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Working knowledge of the following: Cyber security regulations and compliance, access review, audit and remediation
Knowledge across a broad range of directory services for Cloud, Workforce, Consumer, and Digital
