Job Description

The Healthcare Payments RM (relationship manager) is the strategic face of Elavon to the client, representing multiple Elavon business channels. This position is responsible for the overall management of a book of National Healthcare accounts, including maintenance, growth, increased profitability, strategic direction, overall client satisfaction and contract renewals. Consults with clients through data analysis, industry education, presentation of performance results and recommending action to improve performance. Develops solutions for problem accounts. The RM is the escalation point for both internal and external client issues. Is accountable for transitioning from pre-sale through the entire contract term and is evaluated based upon revenue growth, contract renewal, and overall customer satisfaction with Healthcare Payment Solutions and any other healthcare payments products as agreed to by the Healthcare Payment Solutions Group. Position requires a significant amount of travel.


Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five to eight years of sales/relationship management experience in the healthcare/financial services industry
- Ability to travel

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Good understanding of all products and services applicable to target client segment
- Thorough knowledge of applicable policies, procedures and operations
- Broad understanding of how to review and analyze healthcare customer statements and decipher customer product needs
- Ability to consult the customer's organization in order to provide direction involving specific product needs
- Demonstrated sales and marketing skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
