Job Description

Overview of Job Function:

Support sales by developing and improving processes, systems, policies, and procedures. Generate all sales forecasting and pipeline reports and work with the sales organization to update data as required. Monitor sales processes and provide statistical analysis of performance metrics. SFDC/seP quote tool super user, provide support, troubleshoot and maintain the database.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • SFDC and seP quote tool Super User.

  • Work with Sales and Business Finance organization on deal analysis and reporting for forecasting and analysis, including weekly monitoring of risks and upside.

  • Work with key customers and internal stakeholders (i.e., Sales, Project Management, Operations, Customer Support and Business Finance) to monitor progress of large opportunities.

  • Responsible for statistical reporting for the sales organization.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements/automation and work with senior management to implement.

  • Responsible for adhoc sales reporting to various teams throughout the business.

  • Manage Sales Programs:customer discounts, demo, stock rotation.

  • Assist with data compilation for commissions and VSOE/SSP Analysis.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, and/or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years’ experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Business Finance.

  • Proven ability to prioritize competing needs of multiple, rapidly evolving initiatives.

  • Works without supervision with extensive latitude for independent judgment.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with Senior and Executive level management.

  • Ability to draw conclusions, escalate issues and formulate recommendations.

  • Experience with data analysis and calculation of metrics.

  • Advanced technical expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience maintaining and supporting SFDC for a global sales team.

  • Firm understanding of business workflows as they relate to accounting, commissions and operations.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and timeframes.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, skilled in identifying and solving problems.

  • Ability to deliver work of the highest accuracy and precision.

  • Strong communication skills, oral and written.

  • Strong time management skills with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations


Preferred Requirements:

  • Preferred experience as SFDC super user.

  • Preferred Project and/or Program Management experience.

  • Preferred experience with processing and performance reporting.

  • Previous experience in the high technology industry.

  • Advanced degree preferred.
