The Supervisory Case Manager oversees the assigned Veteran and Supportive Services Division Team. The Program Supervisor will oversee client advocacy, crisis intervention, support services, housing location, rent assistance, and coordination with funding sources Ensures provision of high quality services for program participants, and ensures on-going compliance with federal requirements and agency policy and procedure. Responsible for the recruitment, training, supervision and scheduling of staff, volunteers and interns.
The Supervisory Case Manager will also be responsible for conducting outreach in conjunction with the team, and all aspects of case management, including accessing benefits, obtaining and coordinating other public benefits, managing temporary financial assistance and providing other supportive services for participating households. In conjunction with the program team, develops and maintains a comprehensive list of housing resources and other services for referral purposes. Acts as a knowledgeable liaison to community agencies and is responsible for promoting awareness of the program. Position requires ongoing interaction with clients, landlords, property managers, housing authority representatives and a myriad of other community partners. Provides follow-up to clients as assigned and maintains positive interactions with clients, landlords, shelter operators, and other community partners.
Bachelor’s degree in human services or the equivalent relevant experience required.
Two years related human services experience required.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Proficient in the use of Windows and web-based application and office software.
Good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Must possess a Colorado driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance.
Must complete program credentialing process, to include background checks necessary to access correctional institutions, within 12 weeks of hire.
Must maintain program credentialing standards.
