Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company’s shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

It’s an exciting time to be a part of Wells Fargo’s Enterprise Finance and Stakeholder Relations Group Portfolio Management Office (EF&SR GPMO) team. The EF&SR GPMO is aligned to the Enterprise PMO (EPMO) which enhances the ownership, organizational structure, standardization, and oversight of project management functions across the company. Our GPMO supports business partners in Enterprise Finance and Stakeholder Relations through strategic planning, portfolio, program and project management. The Shared Services team is responsible for Pipeline Management and Idea Intake, Resource Capacity & Talent Management, Portfolio Oversight, Change Management & Continuous Improvement, and Tools & Reporting. 

This newly created position will contribute to ensuring our shared services operations is staffed to sufficiently support our demand management functions. The resource will provide operational support for our processes and support continued evolution of our services, and must exhibit flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet enterprise deadlines while ensuring quality.  

The position will report into the Shared Services Business Support Manager within the EF&SR GPMO. 


* Intake and review of new ideas and progress through Ideation steps to Project conversion
* Resource requests and fulfillment for project management resource assignments to programs and projects in our GPMO's portfolio
* Processes for capacity management of GPMO project management resources 
* Deliver tools and reporting in support of demand management for programs/projects and resources
* Improve processes and recordkeeping 

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Project Methodology (EPM)
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Data collection and reporting experience
  • Good data analytical and validation skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • SharePoint experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
